Reflex Hammer Taylor

Taylor reflex hammer from Medipharchem, 20 cm long. The Taylor is the classic reflex hammer with a triangular rubber head and a flat stainless steel shaft – simple, light and the instrument many people learn reflex examination with.

Two sides for different tendons

The triangular head has a pointed side and a broad side. The point suits smaller tendons, such as for the biceps and brachioradialis reflexes, while the broad side gives a wider tap on larger tendons such as the patellar and Achilles tendons.

Cleaning

The reflex hammer is supplied non-sterile. Wipe it with a cloth moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol after use and allow to air dry. Do not immerse it in liquid and do not autoclave it.
